Why is it Social 'Investment'

Social Investment is the term which in reality is very similar to any other investments you do. Just like you differentiate between your expenditure from general investment, there is the same explanation we derive for social investment and expenditure.

Investment is something which gives returns. So, what returns do you get when you become a social investor.

  • The Impact level- with every investment, you realize true potential. Social investment has an impact on the community rather than an individual. You are catering to the community needs and no doubt, you are an integral part of it.

  • Where invested- In a business sense, your investment goes to the market, the highs and lows of the market define your returns. In a charity sense, the investment you make goes to community welfare; the community welfare redefines your responsibilities and action (as returns) towards the unfortunate.

  • Your returns- It's very evident that if you even think of being a social investor, you are devoid of thinking of monetary returns, But, in charity, your returns are the families you fund and the children who get schooling because of your funding. In the former case, you get the returns and in the later, you share the returns.
We hope that social investment becomes a planned activity for those who can and want to serve the community with whatever they can.

Understanding the real needs

In our busy urban life, you and me are always full of action items. Our schedules are jam packed and frankly, some of us do not have time to think about another escalated action item called the social need. If you are a person reading this article, you are really one of the very few potential citizens who still feels that he is responsible for the social inadequacy and is in turn going to do his bit to make things right.

That's the spirit we at theinterface are looking for ,and by far, you really have arrived at the beginning phase of making a difference. Now, we would like to help you understand the real needs and drive your social vision in the direction of the current social needs:
  • Survival needs- Its well said that Survival of the fittest is the key to life but it applies only to the animal kingdom because we are civilized beings who care for people, the less fortunate need our help with their survival i.e. the basic needs of healthy food, clean water and a shelter. Addressing these needs is the highest priority in any charitable organization.

  • Progression needs- Progress is something eternal and it is what we would pursue all our lives. Progression is an act of getting closer to our goals, which is again a very continuous process when it comes to charity. Our goals are very clear and is completely achievable with the support we generate.

The above twp points encapsulates all soughts of needs and its the understanding of these needs which will help you in identifying the areas where you want to invest. Finally, clarity in your social vision will help you in routing your social investments to the right sources for the right purpose.

The power of NOW

There is always a reasoning for why the work needs to be done NOW. Its very evident that things take time and nothing gets executed overnight, at least, to make a change of the proportions which theinterface is involved in, requires not just days or months but years of dedicated service.
Everything boils down to the sense of urgency, which is exactly what we will address in this post. TheInterface functions with clear short and long term goals, our organization seeks to address the current needs and gain momentum to cope with the future charity requirements.

As clearly mentioned in our website about our mode of operandi and our intent, we believe it is important for you as a potential social investor to make the very required contribution NOW irrespective of the portion of needs you address.

The social investor with all the intentions of doing good to the society ponders over a simple thought

"Why should I invest for social causes in small
lumps when I can wait and collectively gather my investments to make a better
impact later in time"

First of all, we at theinterface would really like to treasure your high spirits of bringing huge impacts and we know for sure that you are one of our social investor who can bring in the real change. But, the dilemma over why invest NOW is the only thing stopping you from making an investment. To make things clearer on "why NOW is powerful than some time later":
  • Periodic capsule investments for you makes huger impact than a lump sum one time investment later on
  • Your relationship with theinterface as a contributor on a periodic basis makes us address the situation better and account for the social changes your looking for
  • Periodic participation & investment from people possessing the same intentions as you forms the core of our organization's objectives.
  • Finally, the investment is not measured or valued at the difference you make with it, instead, its valued with your continuous participation in driving the requirements.

We would like to thank you for giving us the opportunity to help you understand the power of NOW and we really appreciate your decisions on social investment. Have a great day.

Giving is an art

By definition, An art is a product of human creativity and it is something which has inherent value. For TheInterface giving is also an art because the giver is generating significant help for the needy and is beautifying the process of rendering help.

A little social experiment will clear all Grey areas of giving;

When a person is in an act of giving for a cause, it is more than likely that they do it with the intent of helping the needy as one of their own.
The feeling of oneness is generated through this art of giving and we (TheInterface) as an organization are trying to bridge the gap between the you (giver) and the needy.

Our organization makes it easier for you (social investor) to know where your money/social investment is routed and help you pin point the social activities which utilized your investment. By that, we are trying to make charity much more personal to you (social investor) and help you understand your role in making a difference.

Our organization is highly result oriented and believes in simplifying the charity process for you. As we have been doing charity service for a long time now, we have all the required human resource and networking at place to make your charity/social investment count more than ever.

Clarity on Investment

The Interface tries to encapsulate a spree of social activities under its charity arm. The social activities range from work in the fields of education to animal health care. At the Interface, we believe the main essence of effective charity is in bringing maximum impact with the finances coming from you (as a Social Investor).

Simply, the finances need to be put as per your interests in your investment areas. The investment areas are identified by us (The Interface) and the money is routed to the partner charitable organizations which work towards the particular need. All this needs to be highly transparent for you to assess the charity progress.

Highlights of our role in the charity process:

  1. Making the charity process transparent and giving clarity on the money you invested
  2. Routing you money to the organizations working on the root cause
  3. Giving you (the social investor) an awareness of how exactly your money has made a difference

The Interface as a charity Organization stands by:

  1. Charity is something which needs proper networking and management.
  2. The current need of a charity organization is to deliver outputs and get it to the investor’s notice
  3. Magnify your role as an investor by timely acknowledgments for the change driven by you.

We believe the post leaves you with our strong intent of revolutionizing charity and making it highly investor driven.
